"When you lie down, you will not be afraid;
When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
Do not be afraid of sudden fear
Nor of the onslaught of the wicked when it comes;
For the Lord will be at your side
And will keep your foot from being caught."
Dad and I talked about these truths often. This Scripture also guided our prayers on many occasions. When difficult days came, and there were many, no hardship could overcome the joy of tucking Dad in at night, kissing him on the cheek and telling him 'I love you Dad. I pray that your sleep will be sweet tonight.' Because of that, every night I received a greater compensation than all the collective wealth of the world.
By the way, that was well over 1000 times. God's grace lavishes us with riches this world cannot count.
